D is for Daily Rituals
With so much upset and uncertainty in the world around us, incorporating something as simple as a daily ritual can be instrumental in reducing our stress and anxiety.
The thought of creating a āmorning routineā can be overwhelming in itself, but it doesnāt have to be. You have to be flexible with yourself while you try out what may fit into your day. You can create a 5 or 10-minute routine, or do something that encompasses an hour or more.
A ritual can be as simple as drawing a daily tarot/oracle card and journaling about how it makes you feel, or sitting intentionally (and unplugged) while sipping your morning coffee or tea. I, myself, like to start my morning with the daily crossword.
A daily ritual is more than just another thing to add to your already busy life. The purpose is to step slowly into your day, tend to yourself, and begin from a place of calm.
What types of daily rituals do you have? Iād love to hear!
