Since I posted about our missing cat on Nextdoor I’m getting endless emails about the neighbourhood.

I’m now spending less time doomscrolling and more time proofreading Nextdoor, to very little avail.

Some people relax with mindfulness apps. I spend my evenings mentally inserting apostrophes into posts about suspicious foxes and unidentified bangs.

The spelling and grammar on Nextdoor really upsets me.

I realise this says more about me than it does about my neighbours.
