What? Western Oregon has a native firefly? Cool. Found today hanging out on my Italian plum. Known as the Western firefly or the California glow worm. Uncommon. Their larvae and the females who don't fly glow (but not the flying adult males). They eat slugs!! Look who just became my BFF.
