I have never been more proud of a Governor than I am of DeSantis and his team. Ladapo is a hero. Twitter is full of people saying they think DeSantis has been bought by the deep state. I’ve been in Florida long enough to know how sweet Big Sugar’s money can be and I know Big Pharma’s money has made every other politician lightheaded with greed. This is SOP for the spinsters. If someone is gaining traction and bucking the narrative they try to defame them by calling them controlled opposition, which there is plenty of. In this case it's more likely a last resort to discredit.

I agree. But I did raise my eyebrows when someone showed me his donor list which had a lot of global elitist people on it. Very reasonable analysis, Sunnydaze. I think it is also possible that elitist money, and Soros money, might be thrown at him to make people somewhat skeptical of DeSantis. Quite a team DeSantis and Ladapo make - and I'm enjoying hearing and seeing Florida's lefties squirm.
