Substackers who don't read their comments make me crazy. Why even have a Substack if you're not going to interact with your readers!? You ain't the NY Times hun. I appreciate the extraordinary writing and thinking displayed on this platform. But for me what makes it extremely special is the community.
I am not here to dance for you or anyone. I have a lot of mental health issues and most days writing the Substack is all I have the energy to do. Thinking about comments and Notes gives me rolling panic attacks.
Do you know what a rolling panic attack is? It’s when you get a panic attack that doesn’t go away for days.
