The dried mushroom and douchi may be quite good but they may also overwhelm the mung bean. Lots of fried shallot on the mung bean, against the sticky rice is all this needs. You could squirt diluted Maggi seasoning sauce on the rice before adding the mung bean for an umami hit. That's what the vendor did in Hanoi.
