I’ve had a deluge of twins/clones/doubles appearing in dreams lately, the meaning of which has remained mostly unclear. Yesterday, I was gifted a lucid dream where I got a quick tour of a deer themed home. It was a very cozy country home and I found myself wondering who lived there as it was empty when I arrived, but it appeared to be very recently inhabited. Later, while doing some digging related to the double motif, I stumbled upon the concept of the Ka from ancient Egypt which is an aspect of the soul often depicted as a double of the physical body in Ancient Egyptian iconography. It is depicted by two upright arms above the head of the double - which looks like antlers to me, and made me think of “Staghead Manor” as I’ve been referring to it from the lucid dream. I was also interested to read that there is something called a “soul house” that acts as a clay offering tray and home for the Ka after death to provide it food as it is required to sustain.
