Anton Thomas drew Wild World over the course of 3 years.
It’s a map that names bodies of water, mountain ranges, and over 1,500 wild animals in their native habitats. It depicts the Earth’s ecosystems and the ways they interact, and it’s a reminder of what our planet looks like without cities, humans, or man-made borders.
I don't know about you but this made me tender, smiling, soft.
I know that everytime I bring the topic of country borders as inherently violent and one aspect of our conditioned separation, I am often attack as being utopian and delusional.
May be it is true.
But maybe, maybe, it is also a beautiful wild prayer.
