I have been saying this since the start of Russia's invasion of Ukraine: the rest of the world can't afford to live from one US presidential election to the next, hoping that we'll get a decent president for a change. We, apparently, have too many shitheads in this country who will vote for.... well... you know what.

So... some countries have already been getting the clue and forming new alliances without the US, since US under Trump is a complete loose cannon and a crappy ally. I suggest - kick out the US and take Ukraine in its place. Hell knows, for all its internal issues - which do exist and I don't deny it - Ukraine is proving itself a far more capable and reliable ally at this point.

While we are at it, kick out Hungary - another Russia's mini-me. Seriously, for all these alliances we have, including the UN, the EU, NATO, there is a process for joining, but there isn't one for introducing consequences for member that violate the alliance's charter and begin to work against the alliance's principles. Russia had violated the UN charter multiple times yet it is still not only the member of the UN but the member of the Security Council. US had violated the UN and probably NATO charter - but it's still a member. Hungary and Slovakia are routinely compromising EU and NATO security - but they are still members. That kind of crap has to stop. What is the point in having a process and criteria for joining something if there are no penalties for breaking the alliance's rules later?
