BETWEEN ECLIPSES

The eclipse has done its work. The air is still charged, but the quality has shifted from electric to aqueous now that the Sun has slipped into Pisces. Like a room after someone opens a window, we can feel the season change coming. Past sentiments resurface in fractal swirls. Everything softens. Everything blurs around the edges. Sleep may get strange in the coming days. Dreams more vivid. The membrane between you and the world thins, until other people’s moods start creeping into your body uninvited.

This is the liminal stretch: the two weeks between the Aquarius solar eclipse and the total lunar eclipse in Virgo on 3 March. Aftershock is met by incoming tides. The ground is still quivering from what the eclipse cracked open, and Pisces is already washing in, filling the cracks wih salty water, dissolving what's been loosened, pulling you toward feelings you thought you’d packed away months ago. Nostalgia will swell. Old grief may resurface. The impulse to reach for someone you’ve lost (or let go of) could get surprisingly physical.

Go gently here. Treat your energy field as porous, which it is. Reduce signal: less noise, less drama, fewer hot takes. Let yourself decompress; eclipses scramble the nervous system, and Pisces offers the exhale. Rest is productive right now, even if it looks like idleness from the outside.

Mercury turns retrograde in Pisces next week (Feb 26), so ease off on locking in decisions or sending messages you'll wish you hadn't. Let things be foggy without panicking about the fog; the Virgo eclipse will come to sort out everything in its own time, whether you've asked for it or not.

Do your closure work. Finish what you can. Forgive where possible. Release where you must. Tidy the emotional attic. Journal, pray, meditate, sit by water, have a proper cry if that's what comes. Whatever your medicine is, take it.

This stretch wants to be messy, a bit murky, spiritual and slow. Alow it, so when the Virgo eclipse hits (and it will hit hard), it can move through you as a long-overdue purge, rather than an anxiety-inducing tsunami.
