Before you buy your next white tee: flip it over and read the composition label.
100% cotton = breathable and soft, but will shrink and lose shape over time.
Pima or Supima cotton = same softness, significantly more durable.
A cotton/poly blend = holds its shape better after washing.
Tri-blend (cotton + poly + rayon) = the broken-in vintage feel you've been chasing.
