A few real world tasks — some bills and phone calls.
Making grocery lists, texting our co-op leader about a few things and figuring out some babysitting.
But mostly I’m still just doing this — sitting in my bed with this sweet boy. When the caffeine wore off at 12 pm, I laid down and slept. It’s only a matter of time before that’s not an option.
When the toddler woke up, I read her books and we snuggled and she squawked and whined and was her goofy self, and after a little bit I needed to retreat again.
Newborn world is slow and soft, with dim lights. It doesn’t go by times or schedules, it’s just a repetitive cycle of eat, sleep, poop (this child is impressive in that department).
Also, the fudge is gone…
