I was in Monsoon changing a dress for my Mum. I saw this burnt orange satin 80-s bridesmaid dress with bodice and puffed skirt on sale. I tried it on in the changing room. It looked whimsy and fun. I’ll wear it to the Women’s prize Summer party tonight I told myself as I handed over my card. Well, the party is tonight. It’s pissing rain. Also what was i thinking? I’m not sure i can do this.
