For someone who is lauded for her thoughtfulness and great writing, maalvika ’s “apology” for outright plagiarism is surprisingly dim. Of course she used it as an opportunity to cast herself as the victim.

I’m fascinated too to see her imply that word-for-word plagiarism is somehow accidental, or an oversight. If it’s difficult for you to tap out original words and thoughts instead of copy/pasting from your source or chatgpt, then you are not a writer, unfortunately.
