There is a lesson here, my friends, to all of you who love to write, and I do. And you have to love putting yourself out there, and put up with fielding rejections and occasional encouragemnent, and be astonished at how incredibly rude and indifferent editors can be, and then you discover that there are a few who love your work. You work for those few. And then the skies open and it's a brand new day....that is incredibly corny but also sometimes true. Carpe diem.
