And while I don’t think it would be fair to attribute the incidence of childbirth trauma (the event) and CB-PTSD (the resulting psychopathology) to hospital providers themselves, it seems clear that the system in which providers are made to operate is directly contributing to birth trauma and is almost certainly 100% responsible for the failure to adequately address it
