A nurse who attended my workshop this weekend shared how happy she was about the opportunity to share space with other creatives to make art, given how difficult it can be for her to find the time for creativity. She also mentioned that the workshop inspired her to continue prioritizing her passions outside of work. I haven’t been able to stop thinking about that interaction and what it could look like for me to pursue hosting these gatherings regularly, and with more resources. This is one of the acrylic drawings she started at the workshop, she is so talented.
