My friend group wanted to get a board game thing going. We could literally only manage two meetings (Catan & DUNE) before it imploded due to this phenomenon.

And the crazy thing is, four of us live in the same building. This helps MASSIVELY with scheduling because the place is home for four of us and within walking distance for the other two, and even still, we weren’t able to keep it going after classes moved past syllabus week, because at least one of us always had some existential assignment/commitment going on at any given time.
