Make money doing the work you believe in

Nature is so amazing. Every morning I water, weed, and harvest whatever produce is ripe. A bean can be small in the morning and when I check in the afternoon it's grown big and ready to be picked. I cut back and harvest lettuce and arugula and in a day or so it's ready to be harvested again. Tomatoes and jalapeño's are starting to grow and so are cucumbers. Don't even get me started on zucchini. I have so many and more are coming. The sheer abundance, compared to the last few years, blows my mind. But it shouldn't. I have put so much effort into creating compost and remediating the soil and it's finally paying off. Patience is key and I am learning that. And trust. Trust is so crucial. I over planted tomatoes and now I have to thin them out because I literally have a tomato jungle. Listening and paying attention to the subtle cues and pivoting and changing when needed is so important. I have so much to learn but I am grateful for what I have learned so far. My day was spent outside and then in my kitchen making dough and processing vegetables. I am spent but satisfied. This is how life is meant to be lived. It's scary, wonderful, awe inspiring and everything between. #homesteading #gardening #trust #heal #healingthroughnature
