When I wrote the series on the Ring 3 -ish soft neutral colors, I noticed this:

“This post made me realize that IRL, my natural hair color is a Ring 3, hard to name, so maybe I’m “used” to those tones? Maybe it’s something worth paying attention.”

Then Allison Bornstein wrote about hair color and how it can influence low and high contrast in an outfit.

I think we need to collectively create a Hair Color Wheel, with rings, tones, and the different vibes it creates.

Like imagine taking the wide range of hair color and organizing it in a way that can serve our styling tool kit.

Any ideas? Any hair color specialist in the room?

It’s a half-baked idea but collectively we can bring it somewhere relevant.
