Eeek! Very excited. Today I took a leap and made an investment in my art by enrolling myself in a four-week writing workshop, led by the incredible Amanda Montei.

As a busy working parent, it’s hard to find time to my prioritize writing. This is an opportunity to refine and challenge my craft, and maybe even get me ready for magazine submissions. Also: I had a very “worlds colliding” moment today when, just a few hours after signing up for this course, I listened to the latest episode of The Mother Of It All, which featured Elizabeth Doerr (a must-listen!) I was delighted to discover that Elizabeth is a co-founder Scribente Maternum, and I met her briefly last year in one of their virtual seminars, which was was also led by Amanda Montei! I’m so grateful for this expanding, enriching community and that I’m able to be a part of it, even across oceans.
