I love how Ruth Asawa

1)found a stamp in her school laundry room that said BMC (Black Mountain College)

2)played around with it and turned it into a beautiful print

3) turned that print into a textile (in both red and black)

4) used that textile in a commercially available folding bed … where it was not acknowledged in the advertisement at all.
