Together with other academics at KU Leuven, we’re organising the 𝘀𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗱 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗹𝗮𝗿𝗴𝗲-𝘀𝗰𝗮𝗹𝗲 𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗸𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗔𝗜. It’s happening on 𝟮𝟯 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝟮𝟰 𝗝𝘂𝗻𝗲 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 in Leuven, Belgium.

We have three excellent keynote speakers already confirmed:

• Roman Yampolskiy – one of the pioneers of the field of AI safety and Associate Professor of Computer Science and Engineering at University of Louisville

• Werner Stengg – previous cabinet member of Commissioner Margrethe Vestager and current cabinet member of Commissioner Henna Virkkunen

• Laura Weidinger – a leading AI ethics researcher and Staff Research Scientist at DeepMind
