Today in New York, highlights from the Lewis Collection are being unveiled at the Sotheby’s Breuer Building. It will then travel to London ahead of its June sale, where it is expected to become the most valuable single-owner collection ever offered in the city.

Included in the exhibition is Amedeo Modigliani’s Homme à la pipe (Le notaire de Nice) (1918), a work that hasn’t been publicly seen in nearly half a century.
