Subscribers. I don’t charge anyone but I still get a kick out of subscribers commenting, keeping the momentum on a piece going, and sharing their perspective.

When you release a book, you sometimes get people reaching out, but generally the books disappear into orders, you get reviews, but most of it is radio silence. So, I mostly “fire and forget” here because that’s what usually happens.

Substack has been nice for actual human interaction to writing.
