I’m always kind of shocked by how many writers blow deadlines?

The goals are: do good work, turn it in on time, be fun to work with.

If you do great work and you turn it in on time, you can be a bit of a prima donna. If you’re fun to work with and you turn work in on time, hey, maybe you don’t have to be a genius. If you’re a genius and you’re fun to work with, then maybe you can blow deadlines. Maybe.
