The opposition leader is clearly more butt hurt than he ought to be. And no reasonable progressive-leaning voter wants an overwhelming Liberal majority. What we want is to gain and maintain a slight majority which will enable the Liberal party to stay in power without having to worry about Peewee Herman threatening a non confidence vote every seven days. And our democracy dictates that there be productive debate in the House of Commons regarding any bill that affects the lives of Canadian citizens. The other parties are there to provide guardrails against anything else. But productive debate is not happening for the most part because, again, this guy is butt hurt. I don’t know how else to explain it. He could get some of his support back by actually acting the way he pledged to act when he lost his riding last April. So far, all he seems to be doing is whining. And that is what is driving his (and other) party members to defect and Canadian voters to support his “nemesis”.
Why is he so immature and self destructive? Carney has the winning recipe. It’s not perfect and things will happen. But to continuously bleat on about how everything he does is WRONG is vintage, new age Conservative propaganda.
In a statement on social media, Poilievre accused Carney of using "backroom deals" to "seize a costly majority that voters rejected, which will enable Liberals to balloon debt, inflate the cost of living, block resources and turn criminals loose on our streets."
