I’m not necessarily disagreeing with you, just have two points to share:

1) it was a serious holiday known as Sukkot and many soldiers were away from home; imagine an attack happened in the U.S. on Thanksgiving

2) Israel gets threats all the time so at some point it’s more about sifting through noise for credibility than thinking a warning is all it takes
