i really am so fucking bored of the eternal pessimism people have chosen to mistake for enlightenment. this world is dark; white people discover this truth once every decade and are surprised by it. crippled by it, by the weight of that knowledge. and then they spread that panic, that pessimism and call it an awakening. we're all doomed, nothing we do matters so why care. grow up. learn to be brave, as we have. your nihilism is a crutch. it's there to prop you up so you may never lift a finger and do the work.

hope is radical precisely because it is contingent on the belief that all this darkness will be followed by a better world because we're actively building it. choose hope. so many people's lives depend on it.
