So… it appears that someone has registered the username “@backofmind1” and the name “Dan Davies” to post comment spam on my posts, that looks like it comes from me.

Why don't I ban them?

Because they took the precaution of blocking me. This means I can't see their comments (so I had to be warned by my readers about the spam). And I can't see their user page, including the “report account” button. But they can keep posting comments on my blog.

Seems kind of bad? @substack?
