John Papa Gros (client): The song “Quitters Never Win” was written and originally recorded by Dr. John. I’m guessing very few people are familiar with the song. But when we perform it live, it slams. People love it. And I love the message behind the title. It sums up where I'm at in my middle-aged career. When I got through the pandemic, it was like, “Okay, you survived it. What's next?” How do you get to the finish line? Don't stop. Quitters never win. Winners never quit. That’s why it is the first song on the Giants album.
