Breaking | For the first time since 2015, an Iranian civilian aircraft has reportedly flown directly from Tehran to Sana’a, Yemen.

The flight, IRM-1199, is believed to be operated by Mahan Air using an Airbus A340-300.

The direct route paints to a sign of de-escalation between the Houthis and the Saudi-led coalition in Yemen.

There is also speculation that the aircraft may be carrying wounded senior Houthi figures and a Houthi delegation traveling to Tehran for the funeral of Iran’s late Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei.
