Many will not forget that the Vice President of the United States chose to go on one of the biggest podcasts in the world and smear citizens of the country he serves—citizens who belong to his own party—as bought and paid for by Israel.

Call it the Groyper Gambit: Vance seems to be seeking the approval of a very online, conspiratorial, and rather seedy faction of the far right, betting that its influence will rise and help power him to the presidency.

I would like to convince him he is wrong: The faction he is courting is reviled by the mainstream.
