Hi Substack! I’m BB, and I write Between the Wines—a newsletter where books, essays, and a healthy pour of wine collide. It’s been six months of writing here, and somehow I’ve yet to introduce myself.

I’m a writer, small business owner, and former banker turned full-time creative. These days, I split my time between querying my comedic mystery Susie Sweetheart Is Back From the Dead, writing my Knives Out meets Modern Family mystery McMurder, oversharing in essays that blend humor with vulnerability sprinkled with some book quotes, and overanalyzing everything I read… in the best way possible.

Between the Wines is where I share the good stuff: essays on identity, creativity, and ambition (especially how they show up in the stories we love); book recs that make you feel something; and literary wine pairings—because why not be a little extra?
