The world turns, and another week passes.
Our orientation shifts as we move through time and space. We climb one hill, and the next becomes visible.
Sometimes, however, the simplest changes - turning an image quite literally upside down, for instance - shift how we see the world.
For this week’s Aminus3 Photography prompt I did just that. Instead of finding a suitable image to drop into the feed, I made a suitable image.
What was a patch of trees over a lake shot from above on a cloudy morning now looks like moss on rocks. A bed of seaweed, shot through clear, dark waters. Bacteria multiplying in a darkened lab.
The best creative briefs are both limiting and open ended. So too for prompts, apparently.
Do any of these alternate descriptions resonate? What do you see?
