Self-care on a Saturday consists of cleaning. When my house is clean, I feel extremely happy. For someone who is neurodivergent, this is clean and well organized. You should have seen my surroundings during my addiction. I used to think when I got my own house it was gonna always be messy, but that's actually not the case. Yes, I make doom piles, but I also don't let them sit long either. I used to surround myself in things that had absolutely no value. Today, I do my dishes when they pile up. I don't make the pile bigger anymore. That's the difference. Today I care about my things, and the life I've built. I don't let problems or messes sit any longer, I take care of them as they come and don't compound the issue. Life can get better, and gratitude will flow. You have to give yourself half a chance. Xoxo ❣️
