This is honestly one of my favorite creations from my writing journey this year. I was in a coffee shop with a friend, and I was the girl I fell in love with. 🥹🖤 A really beautiful moment in my journey of healing and self discovery. This moment showed me that my writing didn’t have to stay reflective essays or emotional poetry. It showed that I could transform my reflections into stories. I’m still learning, of course. I’ve only been writing intentionally, outside of my journaling, since March of this year. Before that I hadn’t actually sat down and allowed myself to indulge in this art form since I was a teenager.

Idk. This month, this season, has ripped bare some things that needed acknowledgment and confronting, and I am finding myself reflecting.
