The whole show was so intensely beautiful, so radical in its romance. It hurt to watch; it was so breathtakingly lovely. And there was this vision that was Christy. She was like a painting come to life, but there was nothing remote about her. I remember stumbling out into the daylight—I could hardly believe what I had experienced.
