Poetry by Ben Bruges

The @thelittlereviewuk arrived! Wow. Lots of greatness in a tiny frame. £12 for three editions per year is a great deal, seriously. It's in my coat pocket and will be whipped out whenever a screen break is required. I'll write a proper review of it, possibly as an attempt to get the 'letter of the issue' for #3, we'll see. Everything about it, from the wit and verve of the editor to the sheer range of poetry-related subjects, to the impact of the NB rule and the deliberate estrangement of the lettered contributors, works just so well. The physical object is highly recommended, but you can, if you are a miser or struggling, check out the Substack as well. In the spirit of helping it grow (it's only on #2) I will buy a subscription for one deserving poetry soul (by which the magazine and myself mean that rare thing: a writer who is not a Writer and who is a POETRY READER above all).
