Myth: “Snacks are just a little extra.”

Truth: For many adults, snacks are roughly a fourth meal - about a quarter of daily calories, often from ultra-processed sugar-and-fat bombs.

If a big chunk of that ends up as belly fat and liver fat, then upgrading even one regular snack is a serious nudge to your long-term health.
