Make money doing the work you believe in
Had a double header of late 80s/early 90s films last night that I watched with my teen daughter.
1) Heathers (i’d seen this before). - The teen suicide and school mass killing stuff isn’t going to age well given all of the school shooting events since Columbine, but there’s something also redemptive and eerily omniscient that this film blindly (perhaps) taps into.
2) Death Becomes Her (ok, but no Heathers) though I think it’s Bruce Willis’s best role ever. I know it’s saying a lot about the value of women as they age and fighting it tooth and nail, but with all the Real Housewives SHLOCK I think we’re all barraged with that message regularly.
