This was my first visit to Charlotte, NC and I loved learning about it on my afternoon walk.

It was a beautiful, Spring day.

Lots of people were out and about just walking, sightseeing, and I even saw some formal gowns.

I’m not sure if there was a cultural event or if there was a prom.

It was a good contrast to the fans who were here to see a Charlotte Hornets basketball game.

Lots going on.

Lots of people seemed happy to be doing what they were doing.

If you have an opportunity to go to a new city, walk around and explore it.

Get to know the history, and get curious about what you might want to learn more about.

I’m feeling content.

We didn’t hit much traffic on our trip. we are relaxing and treating this like a getaway, and dinner was good.

It was a good day.
