In the film Space is the Place, a man asked Sun Ra “Who is you?”

Sun Ra answered, “I’m everything and nothing.”

The man replied “nothing?!”

That short exchange taught me a lot about human interaction and how easy it is to have a bias towards the negative. He ignored all the beauty and potential in the “everything” just to question a perceived deficit in the “nothing.”
