The talented and intellectual artist James Gurney (author and illustrator of Dinotopia) just pulled off a fascinating experiment…interviewing Anthropic’s Claude.

In full disclosure, I (Lance speaking) was hesitant to read the interview, as I wasn’t sure I’d like what I heard, but I must admit the answers to James’ thoughtful questions surprised me a great deal, both in a “that’s amazing” and “thats creepy” kinda way.

As we all are caught up in the middle of this world changing transition that is AI, with many of us grappling to figure things out, this interview offers a unique insight into how AI actually “thinks” and processes its “thoughts.”

Definitely worth a read, regardless of your personal stance.
