I’m going to say something that shouldn’t be controversial but will be. If you are a Christian, you can support border control and immigration being legal vs illegal. You CANNOT celebrate deportations and get off on the cruelty, and be a real Christ follower. Period

On May 4th, former Vice President Mike Pence received the John F. Kennedy Profile in Courage Award for, per the award, “putting his life and career on the line to ensure the constitutional transfer of presidential power on Jan. 6, 2021.”
This is a reference to Pence’s refusal to go along with Donald Trump’s attempts to retain power after his 2020 election loss to Joe Biden.
On that day, gallows were elected on the National Mall, with rioters yelling “hang Mike Pence.”

Asked today on “Meet the Press” if he thinks he needs to uphold the Constitution, he says, “I don’t know.”
Translation: No. No, he doesn’t.
Woe to America and the utter failure of putting this man back in our Oval Office.
Related to their criticism on the media, I’d love a Dylan Thomas take on the perils of design thinking in our media and politics. Design thinking is the foundational thinking in tech and Saas, it puts the user or customer at the center of the products and experience. To encourage scroll or conversion online, this is good. For our politics and media, I think this is hugely problematic.
