Paul wrote Philippians from a prison cell.

Not a hard week.

Not a rough season.

A Roman prison.

Chains on his wrists. Guards at the door. Death on the calendar.

And he wrote "I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content." (Phil. 4:11)

Learned.

That word matters.

He did not arrive content. He did not wake up content.

He learned it.

The same way you learn anything hard.

Repetition. Failure. More repetition.
