You got one job: Treat your wife better than anyone or anything. That’s your covenant with God. Your first ministry.

Paul Washer doesn’t mince words. He calls it like it is: Love your wife the way Christ loves the Church. That’s the standard.

Christ’s love is selfless, sacrificial, and steadfast. He laid down His life for the Church. We’re called to do the same for our wives. No excuses.

Ephesians 5:25 - “Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it.”

Fail at this, and you’ve failed at everything.

Reflect on this today. Are you treating your wife with the love and respect she deserves? Are you embodying Christ’s love in your home?

If not, it’s time to step up. Realign your priorities.

Our first ministry starts at home. Be the husband God calls you to be. For His glory and the strength of our families.
