Pediatric Perspectives: Keeping Kids Well Naturally (07/06/24, video 33 min): with Dr. Paul Thomas and guest Michael Gaeta, DAc, MS, CDN.

live.childrenshealthdefense.org/chd-tv/…

Michael Gaeta, DAc, MS, CDN provides viewers with helpful tools to support the body’s innate ability to heal from and defend against both acute and chronic disease.

Gaeta begins by explaining that to understand sickness such as fevers, rashes, infections, and chronic disease, we must understand the immune system. This understanding enables us to make safe and effective decisions about treating illness without pharmaceuticals chosen out of fear or in response to persuasive marketing.

Drs. Thomas and Gaeta offer considerable practical advice with a strong basis in science. Key factors that contribute to poor health outcomes including chronic childhood and adult disease are: vaccinations, poor diet, excessive sugar, food additives such as glyphosate and processed foods, lack of exercise, lack of physical and emotional warmth, excessive screen time, pharmaceuticals such as SSRIs and other psychiatric drugs, and more.

They also discuss the purpose of fevers along with simple ways to control them when necessary (e.g., cool compresses, calcium lactate powder, and herbal remedies; AVOID Tylenol and antibiotics).

Other topics include why fevers and most childhood diseases such as measles and chicken pox are actually good for kids and their immune systems, healthy foods and dairy, and more…

This video is a must for parents, other caregivers, school administrators, and anyone else involved with kids.
