What ABC News Is Hiding – Haitians In Ohio And Pennsylvania. By Sam Faddis (09/14/24)

When Donald Trump discussed pets being killed and eaten in Springfield, OH, during the recent debate with Kamala Harris, he was “fact checked” by ABC News who checked with a city manager that denied the facts (since proven).

But Faddis points out that the open borders have done so much more to destroy the fabric of American society. The cat-eating Haitian illegal immigrants are just a symptom of much deeper and wider problems, including:

  • 15,000 Haitians from a chaotic foreign land with little education or health care have been dumped in a Midwestern American community of roughly 58,000.

  • The Haitians are now expected to function in a completely alien society in which the rule of law is respected and enforced. Assimilating small numbers of foreign nationals could work, but not with such massive numbers.

  • Serious or deadly auto accidents caused by unlicensed and uninsured drivers. Skyrocketing insurance costs for the law-abiding.

  • Strain on healthcare facilities which now are forced to prioritize illegal immigrants over taxpaying citizens who must wait behind the illegal immigrants in line.

  • Trespassers leaving trash in people’s yards. People are afraid to leave their homes.

  • Schools strained to the breaking point with students who often do not speak English.

What is being done?

  • Ohio Governor has sent in the state police and redirected state funds to the municipality.

  • Ohio’s Attorney General is researching legal options to stop the federal government from sending “an unlimited number of migrants to Ohio communities.”

  • State of Ohio is now:

    • Creating a School-Based Health Clinic (SBHC) and increasing vaccinations and health screenings for parents and children (related note about School Based Health Clinics here: substack.com/profile/68304299-big-e/not…)

    • Allocating additional funds for translation services.

    • Providing funding to teach English to Haitians.

    • Providing driving simulators and driver education classes to the Haitian community.

    • Maximizing existing resources and providing ongoing support to deal with the surge of migrant students.

In other words, instead of sending the illegal immigrants home, the state is using taxpayer funds to provide services that do not benefit taxpayers. The taxpayers take a back seat to those who are invading their town.

Springfield is not unique! Faddis discusses similar problems occurring in the small town of Charleroi, Pennsylvania.

Faddis concludes his excellent article this way:

We have always been a nation of immigrants. We have also always been a nation of laws and common sense. We have expected individuals to follow a legal process and request permission to immigrate. We have also understood that assimilation into American culture takes time and that we need to control the number of immigrants who move here at any one time and give new arrivals the opportunity to adapt.

Joe and Kamala threw all that out the window. They opened the borders and then walked away from the consequences. The people of towns like Springfield are now paying the price.

That’s what the facts tell us. That’s what ABC News wanted to hide.
