Boise, ID — The Idaho Republican Party strongly condemns the recent acts of vandalism against signs that urge voters to reject Proposition 1, the Ranked Choice Voting initiative. More than a dozen signs have been damaged, defaced, and destroyed in the Meridian and Eagle areas, including several that have had swastikas drawn on them. Not only are these actions illegal, they undermine the democratic process that allows voters to hear from all sides and then make informed decisions at the polls.

“I’m dismayed to see this happen in Idaho,” said GOP Chairwoman Dorothy Moon. “These signs were placed by individual citizens who wanted to warn their communities about the dangers of Ranked Choice Voting, so to see them defaced like this is an outrage.”

In addition to calling on local law enforcement to investigate these incidents and hold the perpetrators responsible, the Idaho GOP is offering a $5,000 reward for the arrest and conviction of anyone involved in these heinous acts.

[ED NOTE: The left apparently will stop at nothing to push Proposition 1 down the throats of Idahoans who do not want this terrible elections idea to take over our state.

Vandalism is NOT the answer. Apparently, the left cannot support their ideas with good explanations and their OWN signs. Thus, they resort to hateful vandalism.]
